NYSC flags off campaign for environmental clean up in Ebonyi state

The National Youth Service Corps NYSC in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has flagged off one week environmental cleanliness campaign to reduce unhealthy nature of Ebonyi people.
The NYSC State Coordinator,  Mr Mercy Bamai Dawuda represented by her Assistant Director Mr Adefehinti Olugbenga state this  while addressing Journalists at Ebonyi State Township Stadium Abakaliki the State capital.
Mr Olugbenga said the campaign came as result of what they discovered during the medical care they offered to the rural dwellers recently.
“Following the recently concluded Medical care offered by National Youth Service Corps NYSC in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria to rural Communities, NYSC discovered the that  the major causes of unhealthiness of greater percentage of the population is not being aware of environmental cleanliness in their areas”. Olugbenga said.
The Assistant Director said the program is going on simultaneously across the states in Nigeria.

He called on all Nigerians to maintain cleanliness at all times.
He said if all Nigerians can maintain hygiene, the healthy nature of the country will change for better.
He urged the people of the State to keep to the rules of cleanliness as offered to NYSC.
