The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced the release of deployment for the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II and issued a strong safety advisory to prospective Corps members, PCMs.
The agency urged them to prioritise their safety by avoiding nighttime travel to their designated orientation camps.
It also said that some PCMs posted to Lagos State in the South-West will have their orientation course in Ekiti, Ondo, and Osun States. Similarly, those deployed to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in North-Central Nigeria will undergo their orientation in camps located in Nasarawa and Kaduna States.
PCMs are advised to print and sign the required Addendum, which must be submitted during registration at the orientation camp.
The NYSC is a mandatory one-year programme designed for all Nigerian youths after completing their tertiary education, aimed at fostering national unity and development.
