The National Youth Service NYSC has embarked on coaching Corps members on leadership skills to enable them to have the capacity to lead in the future.
This was contained in the address of NYSC Director-General, Brigadier Mohammed Fadah during the Swearing in ceremony of the 2022 batch ‘C’ stream 1 Corps members in Abakaliki the State capital.
The DG who was represented by the NYSC State Coordinator during the Ceremony, Mrs Mercy Bamai extolled the Corps members for their peaceful conduct so far.
Bamai encouraged them to continue at such a pace.
“We are here to coach you on leadership skills, paramilitary drill, other physical training as well as Sensitisation on topical issues”, She said.
She urged all the Corps members to avail themselves of the various ongoing skill acquisition programs in the camp.
A total of thousand and twelve (1012) corps members of batch ‘C’ stream 1 were sworn in.
