The National Youth Service Corps NYSC in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has called on employers to prioritize the welfare of all the corps members posted to them.

The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Yu’shua Ahmed stated this in his address during the Closing Ceremony of the 2023 batch ‘A’ Stream ‘II’ Orientation course at NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Old Macgregor College, Afikpo North Local Government Area of the State.

The DG represented by the State Coordinator, Mrs Mercy Bamai, further urged the employers to help the young Nigerians under their care develop their potential.

“I consider it appropriate to appeal to employers always to accept the corps members posted to them and to make the necessary provisions for their welfare”

“I also urge the employers to mentor these young Nigerians properly, to enable them to develop their potential”, she added.
