There is palpable tension in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital as a result of a planned protest by alleged Peoples Democratic Party members on the result from Brass local government in Saturday’s gubernatorial election.
The opposition All Progressives Congress had earlier issued a statement warning the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, against purported plans to collate results from Brass local government in the State Capital.
Collation of results is however ongoing at the State Collation centre.
