Off-cycle Elections: President Tinubu Presents APC Flag to Party’s Guber Candidates 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has presented the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) flag to three governorship candidates of the party ahead of the November 11 off-cycle elections in Kogi, Imo and Bayelsa States.

Presenting the flag, President Tinubu called for free and fair elections in the states.

Those handed the flag were Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, who is seeking a second term; Chief Timipre Sylva, the APC guber candidate for Bayelsa State; and Alhaji Usman Ododo, the APC Kogi State governorship hopeful.

The event, which was held inside the Banquet Hall of the State House, had in attendance the National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, other members of the party’s national working committee (NWC), and some guests of the candidates.
