Farooq Oreagba, business executive and cancer survivor, returned in style at the 2025 edition of the Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
Dressed in a colourful agbada and matching accessories, Oreagba who went viral in 2024 for his stylish appearance at the same event, arrived again on horseback, which drew the attention of guests and social media users.

The event held on Sunday, June 8, brought indigenes, traditional rulers, and cultural groups to celebrate the annual post-Sallah festival in honour of the Awujale of Ijebuland.

Born in 1966, the Ijebu-Ode native is the Managing Director of NG Clearing Limited and a former member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange’s Derivatives Product Advisory Committee.
Oreagba, who survived bone and skin cancer between 2014 and 2017, has said in previous interviews that his experience with illness taught him to live with more purpose and courage.

At this year’s Ojude Oba, his look reflected not just style, but a symbol of resilience and cultural identity.
