Olympics: Nigerian Wrestler Idris Adijat Outclassed By Ukraine’s Livach
Team Nigeria’s hopes of adding another medal was ended after Idris Adijat, fighting in the women’s freestyle 50 kg Wrestling event, succumbed to the superior power of Oksana Livach of Ukraine at the Tokyo Olympics on Friday.
Idris had no answer to everything Livach threw at her as the Nigerian lost 10-0 to bow out of the games. The outcome of Idris’ result means Team Nigeria can no longer contest for a medal.
Team Nigeria currently ranks 71st on the medals table that has 81 participating countries and the log is subject to change considering a few games that will go down before the end of the games in a couple of days.
