President of the Nigeria Weightlifting Federation (NWF), Ibrahim Abdul, said the federation will make the country proud at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games in France.

Abdul said the target of the federation is to achieve the highest levels of success by winning gold medals and finish on the podium in Paris. He said two athletes will represent the federation at the upcoming Olympic Games.

“We have gone through all the part ways for the Olympics and we have qualified two athletes.  We are currently in camp and we are training in the camp,” he said

He explained that the two athletes would also participate in the two week camp in Paris before the Olympics commenced.
