Ondo State Government promises the completion of the Sunshine Food Processing Company at Emure-Ile in the Owo Local Government area of Ondo state, Southwestern, Nigeria.

The Acting Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, stated this during a courtesy visit by the Chairman of Sunshine Food Processing Company Limited, Engr Ife Oyedele, in his office on Wednesday.

According to him, “the sunshine processing factory was an Egg Powder Plant inaugurated under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement between the state government and the company.”

He noted that the state government was committed as a partner to the completion of the project and would continue to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

The aspect I want to really talk about is completion of this project, there are lot of variables that have delayed the completion, but we are looking at that and on our part as a government, we are committed to the completion.

“The conception at the beginning under the leadership of our government, under the leadership of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is a great one.” He said.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Sunshine Food Processing, Engr. Ife Oyedele said the plant, when completed, would require five hundred thousand eggs per day, noting that farmers would also benefit more from the project as it would also boost their earnings and encourage more production.
