Onyedika’s move to AC Milan delayed
The quest of Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika to join Italian top side AC Milan has been delayed.
This happened after his Danish club side Midtjylland rejected a €4million bid from the Serie A champions for his services.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio says Midtylland insisted that the 21 year old Nigerian was twice the price offered by the Red half of Milan.
The 21-year old defensive linchpin was sensational for the Danish club side last season as they finished runners-up.
However, AC Milan have now turned their attention to Bordeaux’s Jean Onana and Wolfsburg’s Aster Vranckx as possible alternatives.
The FC Ebedei product was recalled from his season-long loan deal at Fredericia to replace compatriot Frank Onyeka who departed for Brentford.
