The Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Faruk Yahaya has commended the Nigerian Army for their sustainable operations in curtailing criminal activities across the country.
The Army Chief who stated this in Minna the Niger state capital on Sunday during an operational tour to 31 Artillery Brigade and The Training and Doctrine command Tradoc, further urged Officers and Men of the Nigerian Army to be more resolute and decisive in dealing with criminal activities in the Nation.
” Security is never 100 percent, but there’s tremendous improvement as acknowledged from many angles, and we are continuing in that drive along with other services and agencies”.
The Nigerian Army Chief who further commended officers and men of the Nigerian Military on their various engagements across the country urged them not to relent but to continue to be resolute, and more decisive in dealing with the criminals.
Lieutenant General Yahaya said his visit to the Army formation in Niger state and other parts of the country is to interact and give morale to the officers and Men of the Service so as to achieve a better result in the course of their various operations.
“The Military is on top of the challenges across the nation, we are doing our best, the various improvements as they unfold are noted”.
While seeking continuous and robust collaboration from other security agencies and stakeholders, the Nigerian Army Chief also appealed for more accurate and timely information to security agencies by the communities for immediate action by the security.
” I urge all to lend their helping hands particularly in the passage of accurate information to Army and other security agencies”.
Part of the activities of the Chief of Army Staff in Niger state includes the commissioning of the training and doctrine command Officers Transit Accommodation in the Military Cantonment.
