Osimhen: Napoli demands €140M from Manchester United
Deal will see C.Ronaldo head to Napoli in exchange
Italian Serie A club side Napoli have told English giants Manchester to cough out a whooping €140M if they want to acquire Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen on-loan.
In a straight swap Portuguese maverick legend Cristiano Ronaldo will head to Naples.
This move is being spearheaded by the Portuguese’ agent Jorge Mendes who is trying to ensure the 2016 Euros winner plays in this year’s UEFA Champions League.
But there is a caveat.
United must pay 70% of Ronaldo’s salary while he is in Italy.
It’s officially live. #Napoli and #ManchesterUnited are discussing Victor #Osimhen and Cristiano #Ronaldo. Jorge #Mendes is the intermediary. Napoli have requested €140M for Osimhen and that United pay 70% of Ronaldo’s salary. (@FrancescoRoma78)

Napoli are drawn in Group A to face Liverpool, Glasgow Rangers and Ajax of Amsterdam.
It is left to be seen if Osimhen will swap Champions league nights for Europa League battles with Manchester United.
But Ronaldo is extremely desperate to play in the champions league because he fears he would be eclipsed by his long-term rival Lionel Messi in the number of goals scored.
