Italian side Napoli are through to the UEFA Champions League second round after Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen scored the winning goal in their 4-2 win over Ajax of Amsterdam.
Osimhen forced defender Daley Blind into a mistake and tapped into the empty net on 89 minutes – his first in Europe this season.
He had been sidelined by an injury he picked in the team’s champions league opener against Liverpool in September.
But his goal settled nerves after it appeared the Dutch side would stage an unlikely come back – after winning a penalty.
Napoli had bullied their way to an early 2-goal lead thanks to Hirving Lozano and Giacomo Raspadori.
The Italian side now lead Group A with 17 goals in their four group games
