Osun Police Command gets new Commissioner

The new Commissioner of Police posted to Osun State Police Command, Mr Olufemi Olanipekun Oyeleye has assumed duty at the police headquarters in Osogbo, Osun State.

According to a press statement issued and signed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, (DFA), Mr Olanrewaju Stephene, the new CP resumed work on Tuesday.

Oyeleye took over from former CP Kola Sodipo.

According to the statement, CP Oyeleye was the Commissioner of Police in charge of Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department at Force Headquarters, Abuja before he was posted to Osun Command.

ACP Olanrewaju said CP Oyeleye is an astute, well-exposed and well-trained officer who has attended professional courses in USA, France and England.

The new CP enlisted in the police as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) on December 31, 1984 after obtaining LLB, B.L in Law from the Lagos State University and Nigerian Law School.
