Massive turn out of voters has been reported across Osun state, south west Nigeria, as voting begins to wind down across the nation.

 

Election materials arrived at different polling units in Osun state as scheduled and the presidential and national assembly election commenced hitch-free.

Voice of Nigeria reports that eligible voters at ward 04 Unit 02 Ogooluwa kitan 1, Golf junction Osogbo, Osun State, Southwest, Nigeria, were already on the queue to perform their civil rights as early as 7:00am local time.

There is a total number of one thousand five hundred and three (1,503) registered voters at this polling unit while a total number of one million five hundred and forty three (1,543, 000) voters collected their Permanent voters card for this election in the state.

 

There are 33 local government areas in Osun State, 3 Senatorial Districts, and 9 Federal Constituencies. There is a total number of 332 wards and 3763 polling units across the state.
