Otubanjo scores UEFA Conference League Goal Of The Week

Nigerian striker Yusuf Otubanjo has won the UEFA Conference League Goal Of The Week.

Otubanjo delivered a sensational strike in the 37th minute for Armenian side FC Pyunik as they pounded Slovan Bratislava 2-0.

His goal came two minutes after Artak Darshayan gave the hosts the lead.

The win catapulted Pyunik to second spot in Group H, just behind Swiss side FC Basel.

Otubanjo will hope to get more goals to propel his modest side to the next phase of the Conference League.

Prior to his Armenia sojourn, the 30-year old plied his trade across Austria.

Domestically, he last played for Crown FC of Ogbomosho.
