The Oyo State Government has directed all principals and class teachers in public schools to prepare E-Assessment report sheets for all students in the state.

The directive was contained in a memo dated January 12, 2024 and addressed to all tutors-general by the Permanent Secretary, Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Mr Kafari Babajide.

He warned that any principal or class teacher who failed to comply with the directive on or before 30th January 2024, would be penalised.

Babajide said in the memo: “The state government is keenly interested that all students in public secondary schools are issued e-assessment report sheets for the just concluded first term in 2023/2024 academic session.”

“All concerned principals and class teachers are by this letter directed to act on this assignment on or before 30th January, 2024.

“Be warned that any principal or class teacher who failed to comply with this directive will be penalised.”

Preparatory to the directive, the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, under the Commissioner, Prof Salihu Adelabu, had earlier directed all schools in the state to supply the bio-data of students and their parents on EduMix platform, before the first term break.
