Palm Sunday: Governor Abdulrazaq charges Nigerians on Unity, progress

Nigerians have again been charged to work for the progress and oneness of the nation in all ramifications.

The Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq, gave the charge on Sunday, in his message for the 2025 Palm Sunday procession in Ilorin, the state capital.

The governor called for the support and prayers of the people for the success of the present administration at all levels.

Governor Abdulrazaq was represented at the event by the Senior Special Adviser on Religious Matters, Reverend Timothy Oluwagbemiga Akangbe.

According to him, the State government would continue to make life easier for the people.

Also speaking, the Chaplain of Radio Kwara Christian Fellowship, Reverend Father Ralph Ajewole, appealed to Christians to always emulate Jesus Christ and remain humble and jettison the old ways of life.

Reverend Father Ajewole implored the people to seek peace and touch the lives of others positively.

Another clergy, Reverend Bolaji Akinyemi, called on the people to always love themselves and be their brother’s keepers.

In his view, Evangelist Timothy Opoola implored the people to embrace peace, humble themselves, and repent of their wicked ways for the development of the nation.
