Patreon Announces Podcast Partnership with Sony, Wondery
Patreon, the subscription platform for online creators, has announced new podcasting partnerships with Sony Music Entertainment and Amazon’s Wondery.

The move is part of Patreon’s broader strategy to become a hub for fan engagement and exclusive content from major podcast networks.
Expanding Beyond Independent Podcasts
With this partnership, Patreon will now host some of the biggest names in podcasting, setting it apart from other platforms that support podcasts.
For Sony Music and Wondery, the deal provides an opportunity to expand their audience reach and offer premium content to a wider base of listeners.

Podcasting: Patreon’s Top-Earning Category
According to Patreon, podcasting was its highest-earning creative category last year, with podcasters generating over $472 million from more than 6.7 million paid memberships.
“From independent shows to networks, podcasters are choosing Patreon because it’s a place where they can share their work directly with their audiences, reach new fans, deepen connections with existing members, manage their businesses, and ultimately earn more money – all under one roof,” Patreon wrote in a blog post.
