A presidential aspirant and a governorship aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Dr Cosmos Ndukwe and Senator Obinna Ogba, say they are prepared to recover Nigeria and hand it over to the rightful citizens.

Dr Ndukwe added that the nation’s policy would manifest when the people are carried along in activities that concern rulership.

After collecting the expression of interest and nomination forms, Dr Ndukwe stated this at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.

THE PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT’S THOUGHTS

He said, “I think it’s time for people like us, who have the thought of people and the nation, to take charge and recover Nigeria from the crises.
“This nation is passing through a difficult time; it needs people who have the wherewithal to revive it.”

He further stated why he would make the perfect candidate to lead Nigeria. “I’m convinced that it is the time of the South-East. PDP will have no problem marketing my person, a man with street credibility.

“PDP needs an aspirant with feelings. A man who feels the nation’s pulse because he started from scratch.

“I started my life even as a tailor, and I migrated to be a photographer, and I became the first person to introduce internet in the whole of Abia states in 1993. I have grown businesses from the cradle,” said Dr Ndukwe.

“We have shown strength, commitment, respect, and honour. It’s time for PDP to consider the brain to recover this country from collapse. I am here, intending to rebuild the nation,” he stressed.

GOVERNORSHIP ASPIRANT DECLARES INTENTION

Senator Obinna Ogba, while speaking on his intention for the nation, affirmed that he has all it takes to be the governor of Ebonyi State, South-East Nigeria.

Senator Ogba said although the governor had left for the All Progressives Congress, APC, he did not leave with anyone in the party, and the party members were still intact.

“The legislators, House of Rep members and the House of Assembly members, eight of them are still with the party’s leaders.

“So his absence from the party isn’t known to us,” said Senator Ogba

He added, “the governor left the party and a few of his appointees who resigned and remained in PDP.

“So we don’t have any problem. Whether or not we win isn’t an issue. What is important is that we as PDP should organise ourselves, come together and take our mandate.”
