The Board of Trustee of the main opposition party in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has called on all the aggrieved members to vacate all court orders and court injunctions and accept the party’s constitution and end the power tussle rocking the party.

This was the outcome of the board’s meeting held in Abuja to unite the warring faction of the party.

The Chairman of one of the factions, Sen. Ibrahim Mantu told the meeting that the group has accepted Sen. Ahmed Makarfi as the National Chairman of the party endorsed by members of the Board of Trustee.

The embattled National Chairman, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff and the National Caretaker Committee, Sen. Ahmed Makarfi were spotted walking out of the board meeting together but declined to address journalists.
