Plateau to ensure full implementation of health policies
Plateau’s Commissioner for Health, Dr Nicholas Ba’amlong says the state government will ensure the full implementation of health policies for the good of the people.

Ba’amlong, who is the newly appointed commissioner, said this on Friday in Jos, during the official handing over ceremony.
The Commissioner, said the health sector was a critical one, which needed effective and proactive service delivery, training and research.
He urged all the stakeholders in the sector to promote collaboration to enable him build on what his predecessor had achieved, to improve the health outcomes.
Earlier, Dr Cletus Shurkuk, the outgoing commissioner, called on the staff of the ministry to lend their support to the new commissioner, to move the health sector to its zenith.
Shurkuk, thanked Gov. Caleb Mutfwang for the opportunity to serve and contribute his quota during his tenure as the commissioner for health.
Mr Kim Bot, the Executive Secretary, Plateau State Drugs and Medical Commodities Management Agency, on behalf of the state owned health agencies, commended Shurkuk, for his unflinching commitment and dedication to service.
Bot, assured the newly appointed commissioner, of maximum support from the agencies to enable him discharge his duties efficiently.
