Police Affairs Ministry Commiserates with Families of Late Lamorde, Mohammed

The Ministry of Police Affairs, led by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Nazir Sani Gwarzo, on behalf of the Minister, Senator Gaidam Ibrahim, and Honourable Minister of State, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has commiserated with the families of the late Ibrahim Lamorde and Dauda Haruna Mohammed at their residences in Maitama, Abuja, and Kaduna.

According to a statement signed by the Ministry’s Spokesperson, Bolaji Kazeem, the Permanent Secretary stated that the late Ibrahim Larmode lived a life worthy of emulation and left behind good memories and a hard-working sister, Fati Lamorde, Head of the Legal Services Department of the Ministry of Police Affairs and after that conveyed the best wishes from all staff and management of the Ministry and prayed that Almighty Allah grant him paradise.

Gwarzo prayed for the protection of the deceased from the torment of the grave, making them procure a forerunner and a treasure for their families, weigh heavily in the scales of good deeds, and magnify their rewards.

In a related development, he said the late Dauda Haruna Mohammed, who worked as Special Assistance (Administration) was a dedicated staff who strived for the best and innovative ways of making positive progress in the police ecosystem.

In his words, “We express our sympathies to you and your family on the passing on of your beloved son and father who had made his mark and contributions to the improvement of the country, has returned to his creator. Allah loves him most.”

The Permanent Secretary urged both families not to allow the incident to disturb and derail the vision of the deceased to the upliftment of humanity and Nigeria in general, adding that the entire police ecosystem believed in their contributions to the nation.

The family thanked the management and staff of the Ministry for sharing in the moment of grief and sorrow with the family, which showed a clear testimony that the leadership of the police ecosystem had shown concern about the passing away of the deceased persons.

The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, was accompanied by the entire management team of the Ministry. Fati Lamorde is the Head of the Legal Services Department of the Ministry of Police Affairs and a sister to the late Ibrahim Lamorde.
