Police Commissioner Orders CID To Restore Peace In Harder Farmers Clashes

Security forces have been deployed to Kukta, Waltandi district in the Song Local Government Area of Adamawa State to restore normalcy in fresh Hardee’s farmers clashes.

The Commissioner of Police Dankombo Morris has ordered the  State Criminal Investigation Department to embark on a detailed and comprehensive investigation into the alleged Herders /Farmers clash resulting to loss of lives and destructions of property .

The CP who is deeply saddened by situation , described it as unfortunate act and reassures the Government and the people of Song local government that the perpetrators would be brought to Justice.

According to local sources, an unspecified number of people have been reportedly killed following the clashes on Sunday, 27 October, 2024.

This was confirmed by the Public Relations Officer of the Adamawa State Police, SP Suleiman Nguroje.
