The Nigeria Police Force has reaffirmed the commitment of the Force to uphold the principles of transparency and meritocracy in all recruitment activities.
The Force has also promised to ensure that, qualified individuals are given equal opportunities to serve in the Force the country.
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One Headquarters Kano, North West Nigeria, AIG Umar Mamman Sanda, gave the assurance when he visited the venue of the ongoing 2022/2023 Police Constable screening exercise for assessment in Kano.
He said, the visit was aimed at conducting a comprehensive assessment of the screening processes and the facilities being used for the exercise.
The AIG Charged the Police and Police Service Commission personnel to continue maintaining the highest standard of integrity and professionalism in conducting the exercise.
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, accompanied by Senior Police Officers from the Zone observed the various stages of the screening exercise, including the security of the venue, background check, physical examination, credentials verification and uploading of candidates details.
The inspection also focused on the logistics arrangements, security measures, and overall organization of the screening process.
the Assistant Inspector-General of Police expressed satisfaction with the level of coordination and professionalism demonstrated by the Kano Police and personnel of the Police Service Commission.
Also, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel said, the Command remains resolute in its dedication to executing the recruitment process with utmost diligence and in accordance with established guidelines.
“As such, the public is assured that the 2022/2023 Police Constable screening exercise will continue to be conducted with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.”
Also, the Zonal Coordinator of the Recruitment, Kano/Jigawa Zone, Mrs Hauwa Kwambo, the representative of Federal Character Commission, Garba Usman and the Executive Secretary of the Kano State Guidance and Counselling Board, Faruq Abdu Sumaila commended the personnel conducting the screening exercise for their professionalism and dedication.
