Polio: Ekiti to commence second round of vaccination April 9
The Ekiti State Government is set to commence the third round of the Polio Outbreak Response Vaccination on Saturday, April 9.

The Chairman of the Ekiti State Primary Health Care Development Agency (PHCDA), Chief Mrs. Monisola Oloro who made this known in Ado Ekiti, urged mothers to make their children from 0 to five years old available for the 4-day exercise to protect children from contracting polio disease with its attendant irreversible paralysis.
Oloro said that the state government would, as usual, adopt the house-to-house campaign, visiting markets, religious centres, schools and farmsteads to administer the vaccine during the period.
She assured that the provision of quality health care delivery remained a top priority of the Governor Kayode Fayemi led administration in the state.
Oloro said that the state government would leave no stone unturned to ensure that the people have unfettered access to quality health services in the State.
She urged residents of the state to continue supporting the efforts of the government at making their lives more meaningful and healthier.
