Popular singer WizKid set to release new album
Award winning singer WizKid, has announced the release of his new album ‘More Love,Less Ego’ (MLLE).
The album which will be his fifth album will be released in the second quarter of the year.
This comes after the record breaking 2020 album Made In Lagos. The 14-track which was released on 30 October 2020 by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records featured British artists like Skepta and Ella Mai, American R&B singer H.E.R., Jamaican artists Projexx and Damian Marley, and Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Tay Iwar, Terri and Tems.
The album’s deluxe edition was released in 2021 and included guest appearances from Nigerian artist Buju and Canadian singer Justin Bieber.
The renowned album earned Wizkid his Grammy win for Best Global Song at the 2020 Grammy awards and also earned him a nod at the 2022 Grammy Awards for Best Global Music Album. Its hit single Essence which he sang with Tems and Justin Bieber earned him another nod for Best Global Music Performance at the award ceremony.
In October 2021, less than a year after it’s release, Made In Lagos recorded over one billion streams across streaming platforms globally.
