Presidency 2023: ‘Nigerians are waiting for PDP to takeover’ – Governor Fintiri
The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, says Nigerians are patiently waiting for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to take over the country’s leadership.
Speaking in Yola during the inauguration of the 21 caretaker chairmen for Adamawa local councils, the governor urged the party members to start grassroots mobilisation ahead of the poll.
He expressed confidence that his party would return to power to pilot the nation’s affairs. He told the chairmen to work with the grassroots and security agencies for peace and development.
However, Abdulrazak Namdas, representing Ganye/Jada/Toungo/Mayo Belwa federal constituency in the House of Representatives on APC platform, yesterday distributed Honda Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to royal fathers in his constituency.
The journalist-turned-politician also distributed 100 sewing machines, 100 grinding machines and 1,100 assorted seedlings to the APC leaders in the four local councils of his constituency.
