President Buhari appoints Governor Sule as member presidential council on digital economy

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, as a member of the Presidential Council on Digital Economy and E-governance.
This was contained in a statement signed and issued to journalists by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Addra.
He said the letter was signed and disclosed by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami.
Professor Pantami, said the constitution of the presidential council is an effort to implement the National Digital Economy Policy (NDEPS) and the Nigerian E-governance Master Plan (NEGMP).
He noted that Nasarawa State was critical to the success of Nigeria’s digital economy agenda.
Addra further, said that Governor Sule and other members of the council would be inaugurated by President Buhari, being the chairman of the council, at a later date communicated.
