Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has presented the flag of the All Progressives Progress (APC) to the standard bearer of the party, Bola Tinubu.
The presentation was done on Wednesday at the Eagle Square Abuja, after Tinubu emerged as the winner of the APC presidential primary election of the party.

Tinubu, who polled 1271 votes to defeat 13 other contestants, was full of gratitude to President Buhari and the leadership of the APC for allowing a free and fair process as well as the delegates who voted.
He called on those who contested with him, to join hands with him, to canvas for votes from Nigerians in the 2023 general election.
The special convention and presidential primary of the APC witnessed a lot of intrigues, as 28 aspirants started the race, 23 were screened and at the end of the day, 14 slugged it out with Tinubu emerging victorious.
