President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday received the new Chairman of Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa.
The two went into a closed session, where the President is expected to give a marching order to the new EFCC Boss to tame corruption, leading to its total defeat.
40-year-old Abdulrasheed Bawa was on Wednesday confirmed by the Senate as the substantive Chairman of the EFCC and he pledged to heighten the fight against corruption, which has retarded development in the country.
