President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to the nation’s capital Abuja, after celebrating Eid al-Adha in his home town Daura, Katsina State.
He was received on arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport Abuja by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello, and heads of security agencies.
The President, who has been away for nine days, used the visit to interact with his relations and childhood friends.
While in Daura, the Nigerian leader also hosted some Governors, who paid him Sallah homage.
He also participated in the trial census at his ancestral home.
President Buhari was accompanied on the trip by his wife Aisha and other members of the first family.
