The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari is presiding over a meeting of the National Security Council at the Council Chambers of the presidential villa, Abuja.
Those in attendance include; the Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, Minister of Defence, retired Major General Bashir Magashi, Interior, Rauf Aregbesola and that of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi.
Also in attendance are the Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor, Service Chiefs and the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali, among others.
The meeting is expected to review the general security situation around the country and proffer solutions.
