President Muhammadu Buhari will today Friday visit Adamawa State, North-East Nigeria.
The aim of the visit is to condole with the government and people of the State over the demise of one of Adamawa’s prominent sons, the late Ahmed Joda.
Joda was the Chairman of President Buhari’s transition committee before the President assumed office in 2015.
The elder statesman died on Friday 13th August, aged 91.

President Buhari will later proceed from Yola to Kano, to attend the wedding fatiha of his son, Yusuf Buhari.
He will return to Abuja after the wedding.
A high-powered delegation led by the Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha had visited Joda’s family on Monday, to commiserate with them.
