President Tinubu and Tijaniyya Brotherhood Pray for Nigeria’s Peace

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has observed the Friday Jumaat prayer along with visiting leaders of the Tijaniyya Muslim brotherhood, led by Khalifa Mahiy Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass, at the State House, Abuja.

After the two rakaat Jumaat, the President held a joint special prayer session for the country with Khalifa Mahiy and the Muslim Brotherhood.

In an interview with State House Correspondents after the prayers, the leader of the Tijaniyya Muslim brotherhood, Khalifa Sheik Ibrahim Inyass, said President Tinubu has goodwill towards Nigeria.

The leader of the Tijaniyya movement further said he is in Nigeria to pray for the country.

“I am grateful for this visit. I am in Nigeria to pray for the country. And I prayed alongside the president. This shows a strong faith on how the president is really concerned about Nigeria. This shows goodwill for the country,” Sheik Mahiy added.
