President Tinubu Appoints Eight New Permanent Secretaries

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight new Federal Permanent Secretaries to fill in the top administrative cadre of the Civil Service of the Federation.

The newly appointees are drawn from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Ondo, Zamfara and Jigawa States.

Others are drawn from Southern Nigeria.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, said in a statement on Friday that the new Federal Permanent Secretaries were appointed after a diligent selection process by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

The eight Federal Permanent Secretaries are Emanso Umobong Okop – Akwa-Ibom, Obi Emeka Vitalis – Anambra, Mahmood Fatima Sugra Tabi’a – Bauchi, Danjuma Mohammed Sanusi – Jigawa, Olusanya Olubunmi – Ondo

Others are Dr. Keshinro Maryam Ismaila-Zamfara, Akujobi Chinyere Ijeoma (South-East)  Isokpunwu Christopher, and Osaruwanmwen (South-South).

Ngelale stated that the President expects the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to exercise dedication, diligence, and fidelity to the nation in the discharge of their functions and ensure optimum service delivery to the Nigerian people.
