Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu has granted approval for Ahmed Aminu to assume the position of Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) for a term of four-year tenure.
A statement signed by the President’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale stated that Galadima Aminu’s appointment follows the retirement letter submitted by the outgoing Chief Executive Officer of PTDF, Bello Aliyu Gusau.
The latest appointee to Head the Petroleum Technology Development Fund previously held the role of General Manager in the Education and Training Department within the same organization
The President further directed the new Executive Secretary of the PTDF, Galadima Aminu, to serve in an acting capacity until he commences his fresh term of four years in office, beginning on December 26th, 2023.
President Tinubu wished the newly appointee, Aminu well in the discharge of his duties.
He thereafter directed Aliyu Gusau to proceed on 90 days of pre-retirement leave which actually began on September 26th, 2023.
