Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of new media advisory team members to serve in the Office of the President under the Media & Publicity Directorate.
This is to advance the President’s determination on renewed hope for Nigerians in a restructured economy and unified society that caters sufficiently to the needs of all.
The President tasked all the newly appointees to uphold the highest standards of decorum and decency in their engagements with all members of the public, with full respect for the tenets of Nigeria’s federal character principle and the supremacy of merit.
The names of the newly appointees were released in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
The newly appointed officials to serve in the Presidential media team are: Mr. Fela Durotoye to serve as Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Values & Social Justice, Mr. Fredrick Nwabufo (Senior Special Assistant to the President, Public Engagement) Mrs. Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe (Senior Special Assistant to the President Strategic Communications.)
Others are; Mr. Aliyu Audu as Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Mr. Francis Adah Abah (Personal Assistant to the President-Special Duties).
President Tinubu further approved the secondment of Mrs. Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe to serve as the Communications Adviser to the President of the ECOWAS Commission.
