President Tinubu Celebrates Pastor Tunde Bakare At 70

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Pastor Tunde Bakare on the occasion of his 70th milestone.

In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu reflected on Pastor Bakare’s bold and patriotic efforts to advocate for a better Nigeria, as a co-convener of the Save Nigeria Group (SNG) and a pivotal figure in leading civil demonstrations during critical periods in Nigeria’s history.

The President recognised Pastor Bakare’s unwavering faith and relentless dedication to advancing vital causes for the betterment of society. 

He described Bakare as one of Nigeria’s most influential voices.

The President joined family, friends, and the Christian community to celebrate Pastor Tunde Bakare’s profound impact as a religious leader and gadfly.

President Tinubu wishes him good health and many more years of advancing the nation.

Pastor Tunde Bakare, is a distinguished lawyer, pastor, leader, author, advocate for good governance, and politician, who has significantly contributed to Nigerian society.

He founded The Latter Rain Assembly, now known as The Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC).

Tunde Bakare was born on 11 November 1954, he is a Nigerian apostolic pastor.

He studied law at the University of Lagos, practised law before opening his law firm, and left the profession to work as a pastor.
