President Tinubu Commiserates With Former Speaker Over Mother’s Demise

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condoled with the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Oladimeji Bankole and his family on the passing of his mother, Monsurat Atinuke Bankole.

President Tinubu joined the Bankole family and the Ogun State Government in mourning the demise of Iya Adinni of Egbaland who dedicated her life to community development and was guided by her convictions in the Islamic faith.

The President’s condolences were contained in a statement signed on Friday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

The President hopes that Mama’s legacy will continue in the countless lives she touched through her compassion, generosity, and humility.

President Tinubu prays for the peaceful repose of Alhaja Bankole’s soul and for Almighty Allah to comfort all who mourn her demise.

Alhaja Bankole who passed at the age of 78, died on Thursday after a brief illness.
