President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, on his 54th birthday.
The President in a statement signed by his Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, commended the Governor for his adherence to progressive principles and penchant for loyalty under the mentorship of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
He lauded Aliyu Sokoto for the implementation of people-oriented programmes in Sokoto state, such as the provision of infrastructure, potable water, environmental sanitation, health services, widening deployment of digital innovation and ICT training for the youth, care for the physically challenged, among others.
“Outstanding leadership testimonials of Dr. Sokoto, noting his steady growth and consistency in quality service provision as grows in the public service as two-time Commissioner, Deputy Governor, and Pioneer Executive Secretary of Police Trust Fund and now currently serving as the Executive Governor of Sokoto State.”
President Tinubu wishes the Governor good health, strength and wisdom in the service of Sokoto state and Nigeria at large.
