President Tinubu Felicitates Blue Economy Minister On 70th Birthday 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has felicitated the former Governor of Osun State and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

President Tinubu applauded the Minister as his long-term ally for being a consistent progressive with a proven record of accomplishment, including commitment to fiscal discipline and excellence.

The President in a congratulatory statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga expressed confidence in the former governor’s leadership qualities, which he said earned him the opportunity to serve as the pioneer head of the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.

He added that Governor Oyetola’s passion for development will continue to drive his contributions to the nation, filling the future with promise and hope.

He recalled that during Oyetola’s tenure as governor of Osun State, Oyetola recorded significant achievements in education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.

President Tinubu also recognized the Oyetola administration’s contributions to growth in the state’s internally generated revenue, prioritization of workers’ and pensioners’ welfare, and efforts to develop the mining sector to attract investors.
