President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has felicitated Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State on his 61st birthday.
Born on the 5th of January, 1963, Yusuf served as Commissioner of Works, Housing, and Transport when Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the then governor, was re-elected for a second term in the executive council of Kano State from 2011 to 2015.
Yusuf was elected governor of Kano State on 18 March 2023 on the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
In a statement signed by the President’s Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, the president applauded the steadfastness of Governor Yusuf in his political trajectory.
President Tinubu wished the governor success in the discharge of his duties and also prayed that God grants him many more years in good health and strength.
