President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to national unity, inclusive governance and sustainable development during his visit to Adamawa State on Monday.
Speaking at a grand reception in Yola, the President commended the people of the state for their resilience and support, assuring them that the Nigerian Government would continue to partner with sub-national governments to deliver infrastructure, improve security and strengthen the economy.
The Nigerian leader noted that development must cut across party lines, stressing that Nigeria’s progress depends on collective responsibility and collaboration among leaders at all levels.
He emphasised that his administration remains focused on economic reforms, job creation and critical infrastructure aimed at improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
The President also lauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for developmental projects executed in the state, describing them as evidence of purposeful leadership and prudent management of resources.
He assured residents that the Nigerian Government would not relent in supporting Adamawa, particularly in the areas of road construction, agriculture, education and security, adding that his administration is determined to build a Nigeria that works for all.
The visit featured the inauguration of key projects and drew dignitaries, traditional rulers and party stakeholders from across the state.
The presidential visit highlights federal recognition of state-level development achievements by Governor Finitri’s administration and it showcases cross-party collaboration (Tinubu-APC, Fintiri-PDP) on infrastructure development.
It also echos and reflects strategic political engagements ahead of 2027 and underscores federal support for state-level infrastructure, with model schools and road projects set to benefit residents across all 21 LGAs.
