Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has met with His Majesty, King Charles III, on Thursday, on the sidelines of the COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, President Tinubu said he had a productive meeting with the monarch.

President Tinubu described the meeting as a significant step in strengthening the partnership between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
“I had a productive meeting with HIS Majesty,Kings Charles III of England who is also the Head of the Commonwealth ,and a passionate climate advocate,” the Nigerian Leader said.
The Nigerian Leader expressed optimism about the positive impact the joint efforts will have on the future of the planet “as we look forward to setting an equitable global standard for environmental stewardship at COP28″.
