President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commiserated with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Nyesom Ezenwa Wike, on the passing of Mrs. Grace Adayilo, a former Head of Service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
In a condolence message issued by his spokesperson, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu also extended his sympathies to the children, family, and loved ones of the late Mrs. Adayilo, as well as the management and staff of the FCTA.
Mrs. Adayilo, who passed away in the early hours of Monday, September 1, 2025, was a dedicated public servant. She previously served as education secretary of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).
She was appointed as the first FCT Head of Service by Minister Wike, following President Tinubu’s approval of a new civil service structure for the FCT.
President Tinubu prayed for her peaceful repose, saying, “May God grant eternal rest to Mrs. Adayilo’s soul, and may her family, friends, and colleagues find the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
