President Tinubu Mourns Former Governor Anambra state, Chief Ezeife

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described the passing of the Former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Chuwkuemeka Ezeife as a painful loss.

 

The President in a Statement signed by his Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, commiserates with the Ezeife family, the people, and the government of Anambra State.

 

Extolling Chief Ezeife’s contribution to National development, the Nigerian Leader recalled the Former Governor’s influence on shaping public discourse and governance in Nigeria, as well as the foundation he laid for the advancement of Anambra state.

 

President Tinubu also acknowledged the former federal permanent secretary’s strides in Nigeria’s political landscape as well as his leadership credentials.

 

While praying for the repose of the soul of the departed, the President encouraged his loved ones to take solace in his indelible legacy.

 

Chukwuemeka Ezeife was born on the 20th of  November 1937.

 

He was a Nigerian Politician  who served as the Governor of Anambra State  from January 1992 to November 1993 during the Nigerian Third Republic

 

 

Chief Ezeife who described himself as a social democrat, in his lifetime was appointed presidential Adviser on Political Matters to Former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
