President Tinubu Mourns Former Minister, Ambassador Ibrahim

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commiserated with the Government and people of Katsina State and the Katsina Emirate Council, over the demise of Ambassador Zakari Ibrahim, who passed away on Sunday at the age of 81.

President Tinubu extended his condolences to the Ibrahim family through a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

In his message, the President acknowledged the significant contributions of the deceased as an intelligence officer, diplomat, and community leader, emphasizing that his service to the nation would be remembered for many years to come.

The President prays for the repose of his soul and urges his family to immortalise the late intelligence chief by embodying the virtues he stood for.

At various times, the late Ambassador Ibrahim was the Deputy National Security Adviser, a former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
