President Tinubu Pays Tribute To Astute Scholar, Prof. Oloyede At 70

Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid a special tribute to Professor Ishaq Oloyede, on the occasion of his 70th Birthday, applauding his invaluable contributions to the nation through academia and public-sector administration.

Describing the astute educator as an uncommon scholar and an exceptional administrator, President Tinubu in his personally signed tributes said following the significant influence of the Nigerian academic community, developing nations such as Nigeria are in dire need of Prof. Oloyede.

Through patriotic dedication and commitment to his craft, Prof Oloyede imparted knowledge and character to thousands of students who underwent his teaching during his glorious and impactful academic career.”

Extolling Prof. Oloyede’s “uncommon commitment to financial integrity and accountability in public service’, the Nigerian Leader, President Tinubu said he is proud of Prof. Oloyede’s accomplishments.

Professor Ishaq Olarewaju Oloyede CON FNAL was born 10 October, 1954.

He is a Nigerian professor of Islamic Studies and an academic.

Prof. Oloyede served as a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin in Kwara state and he is the current registrar and chief executive of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB.

President Tinubu prays Almighty Allah will continue to honour the distinguished professor with health, wisdom, and strength to serve the nation for many more years.

“On this occasion of his 70th birthday, I join members of the academic community, students, JAMB staff, and well-wishers in celebrating this scholar who, in words and deeds, has also done a lot to propagate the Islamic religion.”
